James is a founding partner of Wagner, Duys, and Wood, with over 20 years of tax experience. Specializing in real estate, inbound U.S. real estate investments, and multi-state taxation, James brings a breadth of accounting knowledge and expertise to clients that enable them to make smarter, more informed business decisions.
James’s technical expertise enables him to quickly understand his clients’ challenges and assess how current tax law can affect them. Clients appreciate his ability to easily communicate complex tax laws in layman’s terms to help them better understand their situations and options.
James is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA). He received his Master’s in Taxation (MST) and Bachelor in Economics from American University.
